I love hearing from my readers. How do you and your family celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday? Maybe we'll give it a try next year.

Our school used to do a big Dr. Seuss week every year. Since we changed principles, they have cancelled it all. So sad. We love Dr. Seuss in our family.
ReplyDeleteMy son missed the big celebration at school yesterday because he is sick. He was so sad. I'll probably do something today to make up for it.
DeleteLast year when Duke was in Kindergarten they really celebrated! They did a special reading in the school library and made arts and crafts all week - we even got invited to a Cat in the Hat birthday party :) I loved Dr. Seuss since I was little and so happy that my kids love his stories too!
ReplyDeleteHow fun. Dr. Seuss crafts all week long, I'd be all over that. I'll have to look up some crafts on Pinterest to try at home.
DeleteDr Seuss was always one of my favorite books, growing up. I still have some of them.
ReplyDeleteIt's one of my favorites too. I'm really glad my preschooler enjoys the books too.
DeleteAH love Dr. Seuss, I worked in school for many years and this was my favorite day.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember celebrating Dr. Seuss in school. It would have so much fun.
